The only thing better than spending a morning getting dialed in for hunting season is when you’re finally suited up and in the woods.

This is going to be my first go around with crossbow – I purchased a Centerpoint 350 a few weeks ago, and this is the first chance I’ve had to go out and get it all sighted in. After a few arrows, got it right on the money! It’s very simple, and easy to use – I guess there really isn’t much variation in a technology that’s only evolved from Recurve to Compound type since the Middle Ages!

But since that doesn’t open until November 5th, definitely needed to sling some arrows off the regular bow as well. Bow season in our area opens October 1st – unfortunately I’m working on opening day, however Sunday I’ll be out in the woods before sunrise!
