On New Year’s Day we did a little testing in the local area – 3400 is definitely one of the more rare microwave bands that people seem to have, however a few of us picked up the new SG-Lab product over the summer to get on the band. Got out, and on the air briefly to make sure everything was setup correctly. Luckily, we have some people in the area where the little circuit board log periodic that comes with it will do the job!
After getting a good compass heading, was able to make a very brief (CW EVEN!!) Q with someone who just so happened to have a 3400 looper he was willing to donate to the new Rover setup… We’re almost there!
