When this post drops I’ll already be enroute to Dayton Hamvention. I skipped last year to attend a wedding, so it’s been two years since I last was there.. Instead of Contest University on Thursday I’ll be attending Four Days in May for something different, and of course looking forward to the Hamfest through the weekend..
What’s on everyone’s list for this year?
Personally, I’ll be looking for a Little Tarheel II to complete my mobile HF setup that’s been in the works now for the better part of a year. I moved my IC-7100 into the car a while ago, but I’ve pretty much just been using that for D-Star in the car since I sold my ID-5100. Other than that, I may look for any deals on either in IC-705, or 905 (not 100% on dropping the coin on either right now though), and of course just looking for any random flea market finds!
Every year I always walk away with a camera of some kind, it used to be exclusively Polaroids, but it’s now expanded, and I think that tradition needs to continue.
